Mrs Wilma Jean Anderson

Mrs Wilma Jean Anderson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Larkin DeHart, was born at Oakland, Iowa on August 3, 1913 and passed from this life in the Burgess Memorial Hospital at Onawa on December 24. Death came at the age of 53 years.

December 23, 1940 she was united in marriage with Glen H Anderson at Papillion, Nebraska. To this union a son, Gary was born.

For the past 30 years she had been a resident of this community. She was a hard working women, very friendly and much respected by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband, Glen of Onawa, her son, Gary of Whiting: her father, Larkin DeHart of Council Bluffs, a grandson: a sister, Mrs William Kuhl of Council Bluffs: and a brother, Gordon DeHart of Independance, Mo. along with several other relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral services were held at 11 A.M. Tuesday December 27 at the First Christian Church in Onawa with Rev Everett Epperson officiating.
Miss Claudia Harris sang "Abide With Me" and "In The Garden" with Miss Jane Reynolds as organist.
Bearers were Clarence Petty, Bill Reynolds, Bus Beedle, Martin Buss, Dick Reynolds and Everett Nagel.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery with arrangement by the Pearson funeral home of Onawa.
