Phania Anderson Fletcher 1866-1931

Mrs. E. F. Fletcher died last Friday (January 16, 1931) at the age of 64 years after being sick only a few days.

Funeral Services were conducted by Rev. G. H. Croker at the Lincoln township community building, Sunday afternnon and interment was made in the Harrison Cememtery. Henry Vande Stouwe was in charge of funeral arrangements. Mrs. Shirley Skidmore and Mrs. Alva Anderson sang a duet at the service.

Phania Anderson was born in Pike or Franklin County, Ohio, March 28, 1866. She moved to Iowa when she was 20 years old and on July 12, 1889, she was married to E. F. Fletcher.

Mrs. Fletcher is survived by her husband; 11 chilren, Mrs. Charles (Mabel) Seaman of Onawa, Mrs. Raymond (Florence) Polly, Mrs, Fred (Goldie) Gulick and Mrs. Sidney (Gladys) Gulick , Mrs, Robert (Alta) Crawford, Park Fletcher, and Dorris Fletcher all of Whiting, Mrs. Wayne (Bonnie) Wilson of Huron, S.D., Mrs. Hartzel (Lydia) Richardson of Onawa, Glen Fletcher of Blencoe, and Dale Fletcher of Sloan. Six brothers and sisters, O.R. Anderson and Alva Anderson of Whiting, Craven Anderson of Walthill, NE, Ed Anderson of Rosalie, NE., Mrs. Ella Miller of Burbank, CA. Besides these she leaves 17 grandchildren and a larage number of other relatives.

The Argus extends sincere sympathy to Mr. Fletcher and the other relatives in the loss of one of whom everyone spoke so highley as a loving and trusted friend.
