James A. Wright, 78, Turin, Iowa died suddenly at his home, Thursday, May 24, 2001.

Jim was born December 15, 1922 near Onawa, Iowa the son of Pete and Cora (Trimble) Wright. He was a farm worker, a mechanic for International, a welder for North Side Shop and was currently employed with S&H Drilling.

He is survived by 3 brothers and their wives, Donald E., SR and Bernice Wright and Chester E. and Mary Margaret Wright all of Onawa and Albert Wright of Lake Havasu, AZ; 2 sisters and their husbands, Rose Marie and John O. Perry and Margaret and Roger Hall all of Onawa and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Pete and 2 nephews.

Graveside services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2001 at Kennebec Cemetery at Castana, Iowa with Pastor Donald R. Ludwick, First Christian Church, Onawa officiating. Casket bearers were Ernie Sick, Steve Wright, Don Wright Jr., Junior Hanson, Pete Wright and Clarence Watson. Visitation was 4-8 pm Monday at Rush family Chapel, Onawa.
