KING, MOORE, WAGNER, SCHULZ

Are there newspaper records or personal tax records available ca. 1894-1900 in Mitchell County that could help identify a Harry Bernard King b. 1866 in VA who moved to Orchid Township, Mitchell County, Iowa ca. 1894. He may have worked for the Frank Wagner family of Osage Township. He married 28 Dec. 1896 in Floyd County, Anna Schulz, daughter of Carl and Barbara Wagner Schulz of Worth County-(IA Vital Records); they were parents of Ruby Anna King b. June 16 June 1898 in Orchid Township (IA Vital Records). U.S.Federal Census 1900 shows the family in Worth County. I am seeking Virginia connections/records of Harry B. King between 1894 and 1900.

Where is Orchid Township?
Are there other Kings or Moores (his mother's maiden name) in Mitchell County with VA ties?
Why would a couple from Worth, Mitchell go to Floyd County, Iowa to be married in 1898?
