I am looking for as much inforation regarding Halvor & Maren Anderson & their family. Halvor had a farm some where in St.Ansgar. I have family baptismal certs from the Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. Several of their childrens names are: Caroline "Carrie", Bordine "Belle", Nils, Mina, & Julia. I have found 3 seperate US Census's that show many more siblings. Caroline was my great, great, grandmother. Halvor passed away 1899 and Maren didn't pass until nearly 15 years later. A early 1900 or 1910 census shows Nils, Maren & Bordin. I have found Halvor's final resting site in St. Ansgar. One question I do have is why Halvor signed his letters to Carrie as "Halvor Anderson Lysager". I also have a Norwegian "Book of Lutheran" that is very old among letters from family to Caroline. I am really struggling to find out more about my maternal line. I do know that both Halvor & Maren (maiden name Pederson) came from Solor, Norway. Any help & assistance in retreiving more information & documents regarding Havlor Anderson & his family would be greatly appriciated.
