Bernadyne C. Sweeney Funeral Held In Austin, Minnesota

Funeral services for Mrs. George Sweeney, 60, who died at her home in St. Ansgar Sunday, February 24, were held Tuesday, February 26 at the Open Bible church in Austin, Minn, with the Rev. Robert Ross officiating.

Bernadyne C. Sweeney was born October 29, 1913 in Woodstock, Wis., the daughter of Bertie and Winifred Ferguson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Sweeney is survived by her husband, George of St. Ansgar; her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David F. (Norma Jean) Bittner of Edina, Minn.; one granddaughter, Linda Kay; three sisters: Mrs. Gladys Howden and Mrs. Harold (Peggy) Hauer of Austin and Mrs. Wilmer (Betty) Hartwig of St. Ansgar; five brothers, Marshall, Vernon and Richard of Austin, Martin of Mason City and Gaylord of Weston, Mo.; also many nieces and nephews and friends.

Burial was in the Rose Creek Enterprise cemetery with Rev. Ross in charge of the committal services.
