Mrs. Elizabeth Kroger, 54, died Tuesday at 11:20 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Altenburg, 309 Arlington Street, of heart disease after an illness of eight weeks.
Elizabeth Mangrich, daughter of Peter and Mary Mangrich, was born at New Haven, Mitchell County, Iowa, April 1, 1878. She was twice married.
Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Altenburg, Mrs. Hazel Wilder, 327 Chestnut Street; Mrs Pearl Renner, 118 Sherman Street, and Miss Marion Pfeiffer and Miss Mildred Pfeiffer, 309 Arlington Street; two sons, Leo Pfeiffer, 512 Whittier Avenue, and Stanley Pfeiffer, Chicago, and three sisters: Mrs. Frank Tubbs, Charles City; Mrs. William Tireman, Little Cedar, Iowa, and Mrs. Clarence Farnham, Dougherty, Iowa.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the O'Keefe & Towne Chapel with Dr. W. W. Bowers, pastor of First Methodist Episcopal Church, presiding. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
