Gustava Jeffries

Osage - Gustava Jeffries, 92, of Osage, died Friday (May 22, 1992) at the Ninth Stree Chautauqua Nursing Home in Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home, with the Rev. Joseph Nesheim officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday.

Gustave Jeffries was born July 28, 1899 at Orchard, Iowa.

Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Nutt, Raymond, Iowa; three sons, Ernest Jeffries, Charles City, Francis Jeffries, Chicago, and Orland Jeffries, Morris, Ill.; seven grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, six great grandchildren, five step-great grandchildren, and one step great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and one sister.
