Funeral services for Sister Mary Viola Hemann, OSF, 85, of Holy Family Hall, Mount Francis, Dubuque, were held on Saturday, February 5, 1983, at Mount St. Francis Chapel. Sister Viola died on Wednesday, February 2, 1983, at Holy Family Hall, Dubuque. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Dubuque. The De Wachter-Haudenshield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Susan Christina Hemann was the seventh of eleven children of Mathias and Gertrude Hemann.
