Military graveside rites were held on Saturday, February 12, 1983, at the Orchard Cemetery for Glenn H. Morse, 74, who died at his home on February 10, 1983. The Murdock Funeral Home, Woodward, was in charge of arrangements.

He was born on October 11, 1908 at Rippon, Wisconsin, the son of Clarence and Mattie Zimmerman Morse.

Glenn Morse and Orma Troestler were married on June 11, 1928 in Osage, Iowa.

Glenn was a retired plumber and a member of the American Legion.

Memorials may be left to the Bessie Roger Scholarship Fund.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and an infant sister.

He is survived by his wife, Orma; by two sons, Derald of Woodward and Terry of McLouth, Kansas; by two daughters, Trudy Sherwood of Eagle Point, Oregon and Doreen Sheppard of Parkersburg, West Virginia; by two brothers, Dwight of Spirit Lake, and Keith of Mason City; and by two sisters, Doris Lack of Orchard and Phyllis Thorp of Waterloo.
