Funeral services were held on Wednesday, February 9, 1983 at the Swan-Law Cascade Chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for Harry A. Thompson, age 44, who died Sunday, February 6, 1983, in a Colorado Springs hospital. Pastor O. Sunde officiated at the service. Mr. Norman Moahoney assisted and the eulogy was given by Ken Thompson. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery. The Swan-Law Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Harry was born on November 20, 1939, in Osage, Iowa, the son of Urban and Marie Thompson. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with the class of 1962.
Harry was a member of the Lutheran Church. Harry and his wife, Beverly, were married in 1976 in Yukon, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his father Urban and a niece, Kimberly Thompson.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; three sons: Daniel A. of the U.S. Army in Germany, Jon and Mike, and one daughter, Tracy, all of Lincoln, Nebraska; his mother, Marie Thompson Paulson of Osage; three brothers: Robert of Blue Earth, Minnesota, Ken of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Clay of Napa, California; one sister, Helen Emerson of Little Cedar, and many nieces and nephews.
