Mrs. Frank Wagner, Former
Resident of New Haven, Dies

Mrs. Frank Wagner, 79, passed away at the home of her son, Maurice Wagner, at Faribault, Minn., Sunday from the infirmities of old age. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Catholic church at Faribault and burial in the cemetery there. A number of relatives from this community attended the last rites.

Mary Johanns was born in January, 1866, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Johanns, early pioneer residents of this county. She was one of a family of 11 children, of whom four are now living. They are Mrs. Will Weinberger of Minneapolis; Ben Johanns, of Racine, Minnesota, Mike Johanns, of Chicago, Illinois, and Mrs. Susan Green of New Haven.

Mr. and Mrs. Wagner lived for a number of years on the farm now owned by Mrs. Stoughton, a mile west of New Haven. After Mr. Wagner's death his wife went to the home of her son, Maurice, to live, and spent part of her time with her other children.

She is survived by six children, Carl, in California; Milo, in Chicago; Allene, Verna and Maurice, of Faribault, Minn. Older residents of the community will remember the tragic death of the eldest son, Charles, who fell into a barrel of water and was drowned when he was two years of age.

Relatives from New Haven who attended the funeral services Tuesday were her sister, Mrs. Susan Green; Herbert and Clem Johanns and Mrs. James Palmer.
