Funeral services were held Friday, July 20, 1973, for Eleanor L. Boomgarden, 50, of Sacramento, California. Mrs. Boomgarden passed away on July 17, with interment in the East Lawn Cemetery with services at Sierra View Chapel in Carmichael, California.

She is survived by her children: Randy and Dick Boomgarden, Sharon Rather and Karen Carpenter; sisters Peggy Luise of Hayward, California, Maexio Evans of Dallas, Texas; her brother, Frank and mother, Thelma Zion of Sacramento, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claus and a sister, Mara Wands.

She was a native of Riceville, Iowa.
