LAST RITES CONDUCTED FRIDAY
AFTERNOON FOR WILLIAM S. SEAVER

William S. Seaver was born on September 2, 1866 in Rock township, Mitchell county, and died at his home in St. Ansgar on October 16, 1944, at the age of 78 years. He was baptized by Rev. Clausen on November 11, 1866, and was confirmed by Rev. Olsen on November 6, 1881. He was married to Minnie O. Nelson on February 17, 1904. The deceased spent all of his life in and around St. Ansgar.

He was preceded in death by his wife who died December 25, 1936, and is survived by his three children; Conrad of the Armed Forces in England, Alice of Cherokee, N.C., and Wilma, Mrs. Robert Sauer, of Vancouver, Washington, and two grandchildren, Sharon Rae and Michael Sauer; also three sisters, Mrs. Josphine Golberg of St. Ansgar, Mrs. Carrie Erdahl of Lake Mills, and Mrs. William Seaver of Beloit, Wisconsin.

Funeral services were held at the First Lutheran church. Mr. Seaver had been a member of this church for 63 years. The Rev. O.A. Langehough was in charge of the services. Interment was made in the St. Ansgar City cemetery.

Pallbearers were Waldo Wold, Luther Tollefson, Art Tessman, LaVerne Falk, Oscar Rosel and Pvt. Bob Strand.

SEAVER RITES HELD

ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Funeral services were to be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Lutheran Church for William Seaver, 78, who died Monday* morning at his home. The Reverend O. A. Langehough officiated.

Burial was to be in the First Lutheran Cemetery**.
