ED STOVERN, FORMER RESIDENT, DIES AT COLFAX, WISCONSIN

Ed Stovern, age 81, a former resident of St. Ansgar, passed away at his home at Colfax, Wisconsin, on June 20, 1942, after an illness of a few days. Funeral services were held at his home at Colfax on June 24, and the body brought here for burial at the Evergreen cemetery. The Rev. Olaf A. Langehough officiated at the services here.

The deceased is survived by his widow, Clara, and seven children, Mrs. A. D. McDonald of Chicago, Emil of Kenosho, Rachel Amundsen of Clear Lake, Wisconsin; Viola of Detroit, Mich.; Emily of Madison, and Edwin and Helen at home. Also surviving are one sister, Marie Stovern of St. Ansgar, and many other relatives and friends.
