Funeral services for Robert L. Coonradt, 86, of Austin, Minnesota, who died Sunday, July 23, 1995 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN. were held Wednesday, July 26 at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with the Rev. John Gilbert officiating.

Robert Coonradt was born January 7, 1909 in Osage Township, Mitchell County, the son of Ward and Alma (Runge) Coonradt. He graduated from Osage High School and attended the University of Iowa majoring in Geology. He was employed by L.R. Falk Construciton Company, St. Ansgar, as Production Superintendent for 42 years, also serving on the Board of Directors.

Robert Coonradt is survived by a son, Gary Coonradt of Austin, Minnesota; 2 stepsons, Mike Jordan, Austin, and Jim Jordan, Bozeman, Montana; a step daughter, Ruth Lair, Rochester, Minnesota; 5 grandchildren, one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Gala, his second wife, Fern; and five brothers, Clair, Dean, Pete, Irving, and Richard.

Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
