MRS. GAFFEY FUNERAL IS HELD AT RICEVILLE

Riceville, March 5. – Mrs. Anna Gaffey, aged resident of Riceville, died Friday.

Services were held for her here Monday morning and the body taken to Grundy Center for burial.

She leaves to mourn in this community John Gaffey, her son, and several grandchildren.

Anna Duffy was born December 18 1853 in Ireland, the daughter of Michael and Mary Duffy. She was the 2nd wife of John Gaffey Sr. John was born in 1837 and died in 1915. They are buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery (also known as Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery) in Grundy Center, Grundy, Iowa.
