Funeral services were held for Robert Kleckner, 16, of Riceville, in the Riceville High School gym on Saturday, January 11, 1986. The Revs. Dale and Rita Coakly officiated. Music was provided by the Riceville High School Choir and the Riceville Communty High School Band.

Robert died on Wednesday, January 8, 1986 at Rochester, Minnesota hospital of a brain aneurysm.

Burial was in the Riveside Cemetery in Riceville. Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Robert was born on October 13, 1969 in Charles City, Iowa, to Gordon and LaRae (Saltou) Kleckner.

Survivors include his parents, of Riceville; four brothers, Harold Merrill of Linwood, Washington, Jeffrey Merrill of Riceville, Delbert Merrill of Granby, Colorado, and Tommy Kleckner of Riceville; two sisters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Laura) Doty of Riceville and Tammie Kleckner of Riceville; three grandparents, Mrs. Opal Kleckner of Riceville and Mrs. and Mrs. Delbert Anna Merrill of Spring Valley, Minnesota.
