NORTHWOOD, IOWA -- Robert W. Quindt, 83, of Northwood, died on Tuesday, December 31, 1996, at the Lutheran Retirement Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Allan Stoa officiating. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. on Friday until time of services at the Schroeder and Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.

Robert W. Quindt was born on December 12, 1913, in Menomonie Falls, Wisconsin.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Cooper of Adams, Minn., JoAnn Acheson and Marcia Olson, both of Northwood; one son, David of Houston, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Viola Grinnen of Owatonna, Minn.; and one brother, Harvey Quindt of St. Ansgar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and six sisters.
