Osage – Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m., at the Champion Funeral Home here for W. J. Bartle, 82, lifelong resident of Mitchell County, who died at his home near Mitchell Wednesday.

The Rev. Norman Brooks will officiate.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Earl Hollister, California.

William John Bartle was born June 27, 1882 in Mitchell Co., Iowa. He married Elizabeth Loretta Vaughn. They are buried in the Osage Cemetery.
