GEORGE ZIEGLER RITES SATURDAY AT UNION CHURCH

Stacyville – George Ziegler, 78, died on his birthday Wednesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Union Presbyterian Church with burial in Union Cemetery. The Rev. H. A. Sinning will officiate. Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge.

Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Becker, Gardena, Calif.; Mrs. Myrtle Yatso, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. George (Alice) Snobeck, Lyle, Minn.; two sons, Floyd, Los Angeles, Calif.; Carl, Rochester; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; a sister; Mrs. Alfred Held; two brothers, Arnold, Jackson Wisconsin; and Phillip, Nebraska.

Mr. Zieger had farmed west of Stacyville until a few years ago when he retired. He had lived since with his daughter in Lyle.
