MATT FOXEN, 67, SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK

New Haven – Matt Foxen, 67, New Haven, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home Wednesday. Funeral arrangements at St. Peter’s Church, New Haven, are incomplete. Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge.

Born near New Haven, February 13, 1895, he was the son of Theodore and Annie (Miller) Foxen. He was employed by the Goplerud Oil Co., Osage, until retiring.

Surviving are his wife, the former Agnes Spoden; eight children, Matt Jr.; Joseph; Jerome; and Mrs. Paul Richards, all of Charles City; Edward; Wilma; and Norma; all of New Haven; and Mrs. Duane Erringdale; two brothers, John, New Haven; William, McIntire; two sisters; Mrs. Gerald Yourell, Dubuque; Mrs. Leo Schmidt, Bonfield, Ill.
