OSAGE, IOWA — Funeral rites are tentatively arranged for Friday afternoon for Mrs. Emma Roehr, 74, who died Wednesday morning from a malignant illness, having been hospitalized at Iowa City, Rochester and Osage.

Emma was born in May, 1880, south of Osage, to Gustav and Elizabeth Troge. She married Alvin Roehr on July 10, 1907, and lived on the parental farm. Her husband died in 1941. She remained on farm for two years; then moved to Osage, then to Waterloo, where she lived seven years, leaving there because of illness to reside with a daughter.

She has had an apartment in Osage the past years; leaves one daughter, Mrs. Herman Brandau, LeRoy, Minnesota; four sons, Donald, of 254 Western Avenue, Waterloo; Clyde, Lyle, Minnesota; Leonard, Osage, and Dale, no permanent address; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Alvin Lohr and Mrs. Lloyd Howell, both of Rockford; two brothers, Charles and William Troge, both of Orchard; five sisters, Mrs. Harrison Dykeman, Minneapolis; Mrs. Alfred Adrian, Santa Monica, California; Mrs. William Sherlock, Richmond, California, and Mrs. Walter Low and Mrs. Marvin Smalley, both of Osage; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a son, Loren, husband, one brother, Albert Troge, and three sisters, Mrs. Carl Koch, Mrs. Clara Hartwig and Mrs. Vera Birkholtz.
