RICEVILLE RITES HELD FOR MRS. ROBERTS

Riceville – The funeral of Mrs. C. F. Roberts, 58, was held Saturday afternoon from the Shoop Funeral Home at Riceville.
Burial was at Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. E. Bodenham preached the sermon. Mrs. Ruby Dunton and Miss Dorothy Schoonmaker sang.

Laura Emaline Bird was born March 22, 1878 in Illinois, the daughter of Reuben Bird and Ellen (Nicholson) Bird. She died January 27, 1937.

She had at least 3 husbands:
Fields Nicholson who died in 1911
Lee Arthur Potter who died in 1920
Clarence Floyd Roberts who died after her in 1946
