Agnes (Ostendorf) Puettmann 1870-1937

MRS. PUETTMANN, 66, MOTHER OF 11, DIES AT STACYVILLE HOME

Stacyville – Mrs. Joe Puettmann, 66, died at her home Monday afternoon.

She leaves her husband and 11 children. One daughter, Mrs. John Kuechenberg of Florida preceded her in death four years ago.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at Visitation Church, the Rev. Father Manternach officiating.

Agnes Ostendorf was born October 26, 1870 in Germany, the daughter of Henry and Agnes (Rihendum) Ostendorf. She married Joseph Puettmann, the son of Bernard and Sibilla (Tempe) Puttmann. (parents’ names from 1925 Iowa Census)

Agnes was buried in the Visitation Cemetery, Mitchell Co., Iowa
