Stacyville: Mrs. Anton Frein, 82, died at her home in Stacyville after a few hours illness due to a stroke; nee Mary Heimer, daughter of Mr. Stephen and Gertrude (Krebsbach) Heimer, she was born at Stacyville, September 30, 1864.

She married Anton Frein August 25, 1883. They lived on a farm east of Stacyville, where 13 children were born, six of whom preceded her in death.

Surviving are Joe, Osage; Mrs. Jess Wilson, Garner; Ed. of Eldora; Henry, Waterloo; Mrs. Art Wolf, Stacyville; Mrs. Rudy Kasel, Marshalltown; Mrs. William D Jordan, Waukon.

She also leaves 35 grandchildren, two brothers, Joe H Heimer, Stacyville, and John Heimer, Austin, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Frein celebrated their golden wedding August 25, 1933. Mr. Frein died August 21, 1940. Mrs. Frein was a lifelong member of the Catholic church. Funeral is Tuesday
