Joseph Willis Drew

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 16, 1984 at the United Methodist Church for Joseph Drew, 64, who died Thursday, January 12, 1984, of a heart attack, at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Rev. James Pittmann officiated at the service, with burial in the Osage Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Joseph Willis Drew was born on May 10, 1919 in Osage, the son of Willis and Clara 'Gretchen' Seebach Drew. He lived in Osage his entire life, was employed by the United States Post Office for 32 years and was a veteran of World War II. Joe Drew and Kay Martin were united in marriage on July 6, 1953 and made their home here.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James.

Joe is survived by his wife, Kay; two daughters, Mrs. Brad (Jane) Craig of Cedar Falls, Mrs. Kent (Joann) Hoffman of Aurora, Colorado; one son, James of Cedar Falls, and a brother, Metz of Osage.
