OSAGE, IOWA — Services for Mrs. Laurence Champion, 61, wife of one of the owners of the Champion Funeral Home here who died Friday afternoon at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital were to be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church southwest of here; burial in the Osage cemetery.

Champion Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Osage Nursing Director,
Mr. Champion to Be Wed

OSAGE, IOWA — An October wedding is being planned by Miss Gladys Dieterichs, director of nursing services for the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

Her engagement to Laurence L. Champion, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Champion is being announced by her father Will Dieterichs.

St. John's Lutheran Church near Osage will be the setting for the high noon wedding on October 14.

Miss Dieterichs is a graduate of the school of nursing at the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and has served as supervisor for the former Nissen Hospital here and as head nurse in the tuberculosis department of the State University Hospital, Ann Arbor Michigan. She is co-author of a book on tuberculosis published by the McMillan, Co.; and is a past national board member of the Wa-Tan-Ye.

Mr. Champion is a graduate of the Cincinnati School of Morticians, Cincinnati, Ohio, and is co-owner of the Champion & Sons Furniture and Funeral Home here.
