Rolf Olsen Lee was born in Nordberg Sogn in Skjak Prestegjeld, Norway, on May 20, 1869, and died at St. Ansgar, Iowa, January 20, 1942 at the age of 72 years and 8 months.

In the summer of 1888 he came to St. Ansgar from Norway and has lived in and around St. Ansgar since he came to this country.

He leaves to mourn his death, two brothers, Ole Lee of Enderlin, North Dakota, and Iver Lee living in Norway, also several nephews and nieces in North Dakota.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Schroeder & Houg funeral parlor with Rev. Olaf A. Langehough officiating.

Interment was made in the town cemetery.
