MRS. GRIFFIN 86, DIES AT OSAGE

McIntire, Iowa – Estella Griffin, 86, lifelong resident of McIntire, died Thursday at the Osage Memorial Hospital, Osage. She was born March 2, 1874 in Osage.

A daughter, Jeneva Parker, McIntire survives. Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by her husband, George Walter Griffin in 1947.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the McIntire Methodist Church. The Rev. Janet Surdam and the Rev. Luella Koether will officiate. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery at McIntire.

The Martz Funeral Home, Leroy, Minn., is in charge.

Estella Billmeyer was the daughter of Isiah Billmeyer and Sarah (Griswold) Billmeyer. She married George Walter Griffin, the son of Hiram Griffin and Abbie (James) Griffin.
