Osage Man Born in Berne, Switzerland, Came to U.S. at 17
Osage -- Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Shelledy Funeral home in charge of the Rev. John D. Kern of the Osage Baptist church for Edward G. Segessenman, 84, who died Wednesday afternoon at his home.
He was born in Berne, Switzerland, June 4, 1855, and when he was 17 came to the United States.
Surviving are his widow and two daughters, Mrs. James Walsh and Mrs. Judson Erbe; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a brother, John and a sister, Mrs. Henry Dettwiler of New Lisbon, Wis. Burial was in the Osage cemetery.
