dies at Osage;
Rites pending

OSAGE, IOWA — Rudolph Hartwig, 65, died of a heart attack in the yard of his farm home Thursday***.

He had lived all his life on the farm where he was born, November** 14, 1897, to Carl and Anna Hartwig.

Surviving arc a sister, Edna, and three brothers, Henry, Oscar and Elvin, all of whom livcd together on the farm seven miles southwest of Osage.

Funeral services will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, southwest of town.

Arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home.

Rites set Monday
at Osage Church

OSAGE, Iowa — Funeral services for Rudolph R. Hartwig, 65, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church. The Rev. Edward Lang will officiate.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Champion Funeral Home in charge. He died Thursday at his farm home here.
