St. Ansgar – Emil Grap died Thursday from a heart Attack. He was born August 16, 1880, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Grap, in Newburg Township, Mitchell County. He came here when he was two years of age. He married Frances Adrian of Barton township in 1901. He farmed, did cement work and tilling until he was forced to retire because of illness.He leaves his widow, a son, Alton, Osage; and four grandchildren; two brothers, Edward, Austin, Minn., and Walter, Aberdeen, S. D.; two sisters, Mrs. Alf Kirchgatter, St. Ansgar; and Mrs. Otto Tallsman, Austin Minn.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; Fred and Arthur, and one sister, Leena. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Funeral will be Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. with burial in Immanual Lutheran Cemetery south of town.
