PLYMOUTH, IOWA — Mrs. Birdie C. Huebner, 89, former Plymouth area resident, died Saturday (May 18, 1985) at the Faith Home in Osage.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, with the Rev. James Fladland officiating. Burial will be in the Grafton cemetery.

Mrs. Huebner was born on January 2, 1896 in West Cedar Township, Mitchell County to G. J. and Anna (Dirdal) Paulson. She married Herbert Huebner on November 22, 1916 at Osage. They farmed near Plymouth and she lived there until moving to the Faith Home.

Mrs. Huebner was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Grafton, since 1916

Visitation will be after 3 p.m. Monday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage.

Survivors included two daughters. Mrs. Everett (Shirley) Vikturek, Mason City, and Mrs. Irving (Harlys) Field, Nora Springs; one son, Glen of Plymouth; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 21, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Grafton for Mrs. Birdie C. Huebner, 89, a former Plymouth area resident, who died Saturday, May 18, 1985, at Faith Home in Osage. The Rev. James Fladland officiated, and burial was in the Grafton Cemetery.

Birdie Huebner was born on January 2, 1896 in West Cedar Township of Mitchell County, the daughter of G.J. and Anna Dirdal Paulson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church of Osage.

She married Herbert Huebner on November 22, 1916 in Osage. They lived on a farm near Plymouth, Iowa, and she lived there until she moved to Faith Home in Osage.

Mrs. Huebner was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Grafton since 1916.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Harriet; her parents; three brothers; Thomas, Gustav and Herman; one sister, Alma; a half brother, Knute Paulson; half sisters, Mrs. David Gates and Mrs. Henry Espeseth.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Evert (Shirley) Vikturek of Mason City, and Mrs. Irving (Harlys) Field of Nora Springs; one son, Glen of Plymouth; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
