The large attendance at the funeral services of Nis Hansen, last Friday, and the beautiful floral offerings expressed the friendship and respect in which the deceased was held in this community, where he has lived all of his life, practically. The Rev. Olaf A. Langehough spoke the comforting words to the sorrowing family, who are left to mourn the passing of a kind husband and father.

Mr. Hansen came to this country from Denmark when but nine years of age. His death was due to complications arising from an accident he had on September 6th while engaged in doing work on the farm. The deceased had been under a physician's care from the date of the accident.

Mr. Hansen had often expressed that he did not want an obituary written when he should be taken from this life, and in respect to this memory, his family, his minister and his home town paper have acceded to his wishes.
