BODY RETURNED FROM BEACH, N.D.; INTERMENT IN EVERGREEN CEMETERY

Funeral services were held from the Anna and Jennie Olsen home at 1:45 and from the First Lutheran church at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon for Mrs. Inga Oline Olsen Halvorson who died at the Bismarck hospital, Bismarck, N.D., Thursday, January 19, 1939. Rev. O.A. Langehough officiating.

Mrs. Inga Oline Olsen Halvorson was born at St. Ansgar, Iowa, July 19, 1883, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John H. Olsen. She was baptized and confirmed by the Rev. J. Olsen. After graduating from the St. Ansgar high school she attended the Cedar Rapids Business college, taking a secretarial course.

After being employed at Iowa Falls for two years she became secretary to the late Rev. M.E. Waldeland at St. Ansgar, which position she filled until her marriage to Carl O. Halvorson on June 7th, 1916 by the Rev. M.E. Waldeland.

Since her marriage she has made her home at Beach, North Dakota, where she has been active in local church work as well as the Social Hour club.

She was always regular in all religious obligations and at the time of her death was serving as president of the Beach Lutheran Ladies Aid. She has been in ill health for the past eighteen months and passed away at the Bismarck, North Dakota hospital, Thursday, January 19.

She was faithful to her Saviour to the end. At her bedside when she passed away were her husband and sister, Anna.

She is survived by her husband, two brothers, T.C. Olsen, Waterloo; A. B. Olsen, Minneapolis; three sister, Mrs. Mary Whittaker, Osage; Jennie and Anna Olsen, St. Ansgar. She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

Funeral services were held at the Convert Funeral Home at Bismarck, the Rev. Opie S. Rindahl, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church in charge, on Saturday, January 21 at 10 o'clock a.m.

She was laid to rest in the Evergreen cemetery at St. Ansgar amid a profusion of beautiful flowers.
