HERMAN O LUTHER, OSAGE, DIES HERE

Herman O. Luther, 65, Osage, died at a local hospital Monday morning following an illness of about one week. Mr. Luther was born February 5, 1871, in Missouri, but had resided at Osage for many years. He was a member of the I.O.O.F.

Surviving Mr. Luther are his wife and son, Albert, Austin, Minn, and three daughters; Mrs. Albert Priem, St. Ansgar; Mrs. William Plough, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. C B. Denier, Mount Carroll, Ill., and three sisters and four brothers. He was proceded in death by one daughter in 1921.

Funeral arrangements had not been completed Monday. The body was taken to the Patterson funeral home.

MASON CITY MON.

Herman O. Luther, 65, a resident of Osage for many years, died in a hospital at Mason City Monday following an illness of about a week. Mr. Luther had been working in the vicinity of St. Ansgar, where a daughter, Mrs. Albert Priem, lives, and was taken by her to the Mason City hospital after he became ill.

Mr. Luther was born in Missouri, February 5, 1871, but had resided in Osage since he was a young man. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge here for many years.

Surviving are his wife and son, Albert, of Austin, Minnesota, and three daughters -- Mrs. Priem, Mrs. William Plough, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. C.B. Denier, Mount Carroll, Illinois. He was preceded in death by one daughter in 1921.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. Stiles Lessly, pastor of the Congregational church, and burial will be in the Osage cemetery.
