St. Ansgar Rites For Bertha Young

St. Ansgar – Mrs. Bertha Young, 85 died Sunday at the Osage Nursing Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here. The Rev. Lloyd Bockmeyer will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Ansgar Cemetery with Schroeder & Houg Funeral Home in charge.

Surviving are four children; Herbert and Ruth, St. Ansgar; Winston, Austin; Mrs. William (Clara) Stedman, Racine, Wis., and six grandchildren.

Note: Bertha (Smith) Young was the daughter of Cyrus Smith and Nancy (Jeffries) Smith. She married Patrick Young, the son of Samuel and Anna Young .
