#2:Objections Filed On Will of Frances Vacha
St. Ansgar, Iowa – Cousins of Miss Frances Vacha, an elementary school teacher in this community more than 50 years, have filed objections to her will.
Miss Vacha died at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital August 8th, following a series of heart attacks and cerebral hemorrhages.
Miss Vacha willed much of her estate to the St. Ansgar Community School District for some worthwhile project “for the children of this district -— preferably construction of new classrooms if possible.”
St. Ansgar Methodist Church was left $5,000. Bequeathed $1,000 each were Salisbury House, Des Moines; Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage; St. Ansgar Catholic Church; Immanuel Lutheran Church; First Lutheran Church; Nissen Library; L. R. Michaels, St. Ansgar; Henry Galbreth, Des Moines; Lutheran Orphanage Home, Waverly; Hillcrest Baby Fold, Dubuque; and Harriet Ballow Nursery, Sioux City.
Donal R. Halvorson was named executor of the estate. Cousins who object to what they call “the alleged will of Frances Vacha” are Irma Seaton; George Libersky and Wilma Adams.
