CLYDE SHOARS, 50, OF OSAGE DIES AT HOME

Osage – Clyde Shoars, 50, died Sunday afternoon at his home after a long illness.
He returned last week from the Oakdale sanitarium.

Surviving are his widow and four children; Dolores, Velma; Arthur; and Yvonne and his mother, Mrs. A. J. Shoars. No funeral arrangements have been made.

Clyde Myron Shoars was born June 14, 1890 in Floyd, Floyd, Iowa, the son of Arthur J Shoars and Cora (Brooks) Shoars. He married Helen Smalley, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Smalley. After Clyde Shoars died, Helen Smalley married Gayford Parks, the son of Samuel Parks on February 2, 1946.
