AGED RESIDENT OF OSAGE DIES

Osage--Funeral services for Charles Barzl 83, will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Champion Funeral Home with burial in the cemetery at St. Ansgar. He died Friday at a hospital in Osage from embolism.

Mr. Barzl was born April 27, 1870 in New York City to John and Marie Barzl. In 1874 he accompanied his parents to a farm northeast of St. Ansgar.

In 1904 he was married to Mamie Specht. They lived on the home farm, then in Osage for a short time and retiring to Osage in 1944.

Survivors include the widow, a nephew and three nieces.
