RICEVILLE WOMAN DIES AS 67, RITES SET FRIDAY

Riceville---Mrs. Robert (Elise Stettler) Schneeberger 67, died Tuesday in the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. t the First Congregational Church here with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Riceville Funeral Home is in charge.

Born in Switzerland, she came to this country in 1914 to care for an infant niece whose mother had died. In 1918 she and her brother came here and bought the Jamestown Cheese Factory east of Riceville. He died in 1942 and she continued to operate the factory until retiring in 1947.

Mrs. Schneeberger was a founder of the Riceville Garden Club and started "Lilac Park," on the approach to the Riceville Cemetery.

Surviving are her husband and the niece whom she reared, Mrs. Walter (Alice Stettler) Bain, Santa Monica, Calif.
