RITES HELD IN OSAGE FOR PIONEER WOMAN; WAS BORN IN EUROPE
OSAGE, IOWA Feb. 3 - Mrs. Marie Barzl, 98, died Friday evening at 9:30 o'clock at the home of her daughter Miss Julia Barzl. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. William Galbreath of Plymouth M. E. church in charge.
Mrs. Barzl was born April 19, 1832 in Guttenburg, Czechoslovakia and for nearly 60 years has been a resident of this county.
Surviving are three children, Charles Barzl and Miss Julia of Osage and Joseph Barzl of Miami, Florida.
