OF ST. ANSGAR DIES
AT PORTLAND, ORE.OSAGE, IOWA - Dec. 20 — James Matthew Warrington, 46, son of Mrs. Agnes Warrington of St. Ansgar, died Tuesday In Portland, Oregon, of appendicitis. He is being brought here for burial.
Mr. Warrington was born on May 16, 1880, in St. Ansgar. When a young man he left for Red Deer, Saskatchewan, but for 16 years had lived in Portland, Oregon. He was a carpenter by trade and during the war worked building ships for the U.S. Navy.
Aside from his mother he leaves four brothers and four sisters; Sam, Austin, Minn.; George, Lilly, South Dakota; Fred Warrington and Mrs. Ruth Knutson, St. Ansgar; Vern, Lyle, Minn.; Mrs. Elizabeth Hogan, Northwood; Mrs. H. E. Smalley, Osage, and Mrs. Rose Sagehorn, Long Beach, California.
