Held At St. Ansgar Baptist

Funeral services for Mrs. Paul R. Cooper, 31, of Carpenter, who died August 29 at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital were held August 31 at the St. Ansgar Baptist Church with the Rev. Rob Porter officiating.

Beverly Gene Pederson Cooper, daughter of Olaf and Bonita (Young) Pederson, was born October 4, 1947 in Austin, Minn. She grew up on a farm in the Carpenter area, and was graduated from St. Ansgar Senior High School in 1965.

In March of 1966 she was united in marriage to Paul R. Cooper, also of Carpenter. Three children were born to them. She was baptized in 1973 after which she joined the St. Ansgar Baptist church.

Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband, Paul; three children, Kristine, age 11, Thomas, age 7 and Katherine, age 6; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Olaf Pederson, rural St. Ansgar; four brothers, Donald of Garner, Marvin, Paul and Steven of St. Ansgar; also several nieces and nephews.

Burial was in Woodbury cemetery, Lyle, with Rev. Porter in charge of committal services.
