Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, February 3, 1988 at Conway Funeral Chapel, Riceville, for Mae Fellows, 88, of Riceville. The Reverend Edgar Francisco of the Baptist Church, Riceville, will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Riceville. She died Sunday, January 31, 1988 at the Riceville nursing home.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday.

She was born January 11, 1900 in Poweshiek County, to Joseph and Mary (Bolezal) Benda. On September 28, 1926 she married James Fellows. The couple farmed near Riceville until 1966 when they moved into town. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Riceville Garden Club.

Her husband, her parents, and three brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Dorothy) Wallace of Truman, Minnesota and two grandchildren.
