OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Champion funeral home for Benjamin
Schultheis, age 75. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.

He died Friday night at his son's home in Rose Creek, Minnesota, having been ill for some time.

He was born on October 24, 1871, in Mitchell county, Iowa, to John and Rebecca (Hadder) Schultheis; attended rural schools and Cedar Valley seminary.

He married Katie Lonergan Mar. 18, 1896; established first home in Osage, where he owned a livery barn; lived successively on farms near Osage, Riceville, New Haven, and again near Osage. He retired to Osage in 1937, where his wife died five years later.

He leaves two sons, Harold, Osage, and Dennis, Rose Creek, Minn.; one brother, John, Osage; one sister, Mrs. Vina Vanleuven, Long Beach, Cal., and seven grandchildren.

Preceding him were an infant son, three brothers, Jay, Albert and Jess, and two sisters,
Mrs. Alice Swann and Mrs. Tillie Holme.
