OSAGE, IOWA - Alice Constance Schulz, 86, of Osage, died Tuesday (July 17, 2001) at her home in Osage.
Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at the First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Robert Porisch officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage and one hour before services on Friday at the church.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 20, 2001 at the First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar for Alice Constance Schulz, age 86, of Osage. Rev. Robert Porisch officiated and interment was in the St. Ansgar Cemetery. Alice died Tuesday, July 17, 2001 at her home, Osage.
Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Alice Constance Schulz was born March 26, 1915 in Mitchell County the daughter of Ole and Anna Marie (Heggerustad) Lindley. She was united in marriage to Harrison V. Schulz on July 30, 1933 at Rock Creek Lutheran Church in Meroa. The couple farmed in the St. Ansgar area. She was a homemaker who took great price in caring for her family. In later years, Alice was employed by Mitchell County Memorial Hospital retiring in 1977.
Harrison died Feb. 21, 1987.
In 1988, Alice moved to Osage where she made her home.
She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in St. Ansgar. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Harrison in 1987; five brothers, five sisters; one great-granddaughter, Echo Rose Schulz.
Those that survive her include her four sons, William Schulz and wife, Bernice of Osage, Galen Schulz and wife, Audrey of St. Ansgar and their children, Stephanie, Mark and Timothy, Gerold Schulz and wife, Harriet of St. Ansgar and their children Kimberly, Steven, Craig and Kay, Delbert Schulz and his wife, Kathy of Warrenville, IL and their children, Tammy and Heather; three daughters, Joelene Beebe and her husband, Richard of Hurst, Texas, and their children Hollie and Rachel, Phyllis Burque and her husband, Verne of Burnsville, Minnesota, and their children Christopher, Michelle and Michael, Lois Winger and her husband, Eric of Spirit Lake and their children Melissa and Nathan; one sister, Ida Bisbee of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; and 27 great-grandchildren.
