OSAGE, IOWA — Carl Bowman Sr., 53, died Monday afternoon in the office of a local physician where he had been taken following a heart attack. He had lived in Elmore until seven years ago when the family moved to Osage.

Survivors are his wife, the former Hazel Sweet, to whom he was married in 1937; four sons, Wayne, with the Armed Forces in Germany; Carl, Charles and Ronald, all at home; four sisters, Flora Kark, Blue Earth, Minn.; Mrs. Clarence Seggerman, Eldora; Mrs. John Doty, Sycamore, III., Agnes Onnen, Rockford, Illinois, and one brother, Ernest.

Funeral services will be at the Champion Funeral Home Wednesday at 1:30 p. m. The Rev. Johnson, of the Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Blue Earth.
