ST. ANSGAR, IOWA - Arnold Dieterich, 76, of St. Ansgar, died Saturday (June 12, 1999) at his home in St. Ansgar.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, in St. Ansgar, with the Rev. Edward Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, with military honors by Walter T. Enneborg Post No. 358 of the American Legion, St. Ansgar.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Schroeder & Sites Funeral Home, St. Ansgar.
Arnold Dieterich was born on September 11, 1922 in Newburg Township, Mitchell County, Iowa to Carl J. and Bertha Kroneman Dieterich.
He married Jeanette Coonradt in Osage on December 7, 1947. He enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and hunting.
He is survived by two brothers, Wilmer Dieterich and Lawrence Dieterich, both of St. Ansgar; one sister, Lola Kittleson, of St. Ansgar and many nieces and nephews.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother.
